"Borders" Close Reading

So, I was a little annoyed with my students when I first made this video.  Still, the mini-lecture I give at the beginning might serve as a good reminder anyway.  I want to return our attention to the process of close reading.  This is an example of the process I want you to be using when you read.  Watch the video below. Turn your brains on when you read; don't just read for content and coverage. Ask questions, consider choices the author makes, engage what you are reading.  Video link is below.
